France have been exciting in the international break and have clearly enjoyed themselves in just their second UEFA Nations League season. Evidently, the current World Cup holders have already secured a spot in the playoffs despite having a game in hand.

The French team were pitted in the same group that contains the current Nations League Champions; Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, as well as 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia. France have really impressed with their top performances that have seen them win four games and play out a draw in the five fixtures they have played so far.

According to the press release, Sweden is going to host the first international blind football competition in the year 2021. All the matches will be played in Stockholm. The tournament name will be Euro Challenge Cup. 

This tournament will be played from June 16 to 20. According to the statement, a tournament is a development event that is aimed just like emerging countries and it will offer them a chance to properly take the initial step towards hosting the blind football tournament. This tournament is a key part of the UEFA sponsored and it will be properly hosted by Parasport Sweden.

Mikel Arteta has revealed his wish for experienced defender David Luiz to remain at the club. The former Chelsea defender is out of contract at the end of the season and there are reports that he could move to another club.

The Brazilian international joined in the summer from rivals Chelsea and has become a stable presence in the defence. Arteta appears to be on-board with the defender and hopes that he remains part of the team ahead of next season.

Temporary replacement for players who in agony of concussion and will be implemented for 2020 Euro, as the reports suggest. According to a news report, a system like the one which is prevalent in rugby is going to be introduced in the tournament next year before it is implemented on a wide scale. In rugby, the system sees the doctors of the team making an initial assessment on the pitch of the player prior to withdrawing it temporarily to find out if they are showing any signs of concussions.

While these players are off the pitch, the team can make a temporary replacement that can then be reversed in the case the players are fit to keep up. However, if they are unable to return, they are going to be made permanent. IFAB, the International Football Association is considering implementing a similar system for football and it is expected to be introduced at 2020 Euro. The system might have proved to be beneficial for Everton and Liverpool back in time, particularly on big stages for the Reds.
