Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to leave Paris St Germain before he is about to retire.
This is according to his agent, Mino Raiola, who has seen his client play for several top clubs in his career. The Swedish international is regarded as one of best strikers in the world. Even at the age of 33, he continues to be a major influence in the PSG team. This influence, though, is not expected to last for a long time since he is starting to come to the end of his career. During his status as one of top players at PSG, speculation has been intense that Zlatan may be offered a role as part of the club once he retires.
However,Raiola has opened up a wide range of speculation linking Ibrahimovic with MLS and Middle East clubs. They are the only outfits that can afford the huge salary commanded by the Swedish international. Even at this age, Ibrahimovic has contributed 15 goals in just 22 matches for PSG. The French outfit may not the top of the table, but they have only a couple of points away from taking leadership in the French Ligue One. They are also in the last 16 round of the Champions League.
“Zlatan still has a year and a half on his contract. He is happy in Paris, he tries to do his best and is in good shape, though he had some problems this year. But for Zlatan the future is short. I don’t know if he can finish his career at PSG. He worked for himself for 15 years, now he will work for me for the next eight years. I think he can play until he is 42 or 43 but I don’t know if he will play another eight years at PSG,” saidRaiola.
